Campinas
Brazil – Campinas
Bandag established a tread production facility in Campinas
(state of Sao Paulo) in 1983. As a pioneer in implementing
pre-cure technology in Brazil, Bandag’s success has continued
to grow as its dealers continue to grow and improve their
business.
Mafra
BRAZIL – Mafra
Bandag’s newest manufacturing plant established in 1997
in the city of Mafra (state of Santa Catarina) is strategically
situated to benefit from the expansion of Mercosur, the Southern
Common Market created by a 1991 treaty between Argentina,
Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay.
EUROPE (EMEA)
Lanklaar, Belgium
EUROPE – Lanklaar
The tread manufacturing facility for Bandag’s Eastern Hemisphere
Rubber Division (EMEA) is located in northern Belgium, close
to Dutch and German borders in the town of Lanklaar.
Bandag was one of the first companies to establish a facility
in the area during the industrial reconversion. The plant
recently obtained ISO 9002 certification, which is a testament
to the quality of the work done there.

Leon
MEXICO – Leon
The Bandag de Mexico manufacturing plant is located in Leon.
UNITED STATES
Abilene, Texas
TEXAS – Abilene
Bandag’s Abilene facility opened and began production in
1971. Location of the Abilene plant was chosen because of
easy access to the West Coast and suppliers. The plant is
ISO 9002 certified which is a testament to the quality of
work done there.
Griffin, Georgia
GEORGIA – Griffin
The Bandag manufacturing plant in Griffin, Georgia is located
40 miles south of Atlanta and was established in 1976.
The Griffin plant suffered a major fire in December 1983.
Bandag began a rebuild project immediately, putting all employees
to work at various businesses in the community during the
rebuilding phase. In 1997 Bandag-Griffin became ISO 9002
certified which is a testament to the quality of work done
there.
Long Beach, California
CALIFORNIA - Long Beach
The Long Beach, California location proudly boasts a long history of excellence
in the rubber manufacturing industry. This location has recently received ISO 9002
certification, which is a testament to the quality of work done there.
Muncie, Indiana
INDIANA – Muncie
Bandag acquired Kendon Corporation in Muncie, Indiana in
1993. Kendon is the primary mold producer for all of Bandag
retreads globally.
Muscatine, Iowa
IOWA – Muscatine
Bandag’s Equipment Plant is located in Muscatine, Iowa.
The Bandag Equipment Plant produces equipment that directly
supports the retread process. Because of this, the plant’s
mission is straightforward and simple: Support dealer
capacity, profitability and end user satisfaction by providing
in a cost effective and timely manner, quality equipment
and services that reduce manufacturing process variation.
Oxford, North Carolina
NORTH CAROLINA – Oxford
The Bandag manufacturing plant in Oxford, North Carolina
is located about 35 miles north of the Raleigh-Durham area
and was established in 1967. Bandag-Oxford serves customers
in the northeastern portion of the United States as well
as exporting products to Europe. The plant is ISO 9002 certified
which is a testament to the quality work done there.
